this page uses like 10 different APIs, so uh let me know if something breaks
also shout out to NASA for having so many cool APIs: api.nasa.gov

The “fun” bit of your url a bit off here 😂. But seriously, is there historic data available so that one could put in a random date in the past and see what the stats were then? Would be very interesting. Nice work btw!

This is awesome! Dunno how to fix your data but hurricane ian is very much happening right now, so perhaps you can pull a start and end date?

yeah that's a good idea, I'll see if there's a datasource that includes end dates for hurricanes

This is awesome. How do you plan on updating the counters for incidents that aren't monitored with apis (like extreme geomagnetic storm)? Pull requests? 😜

all the geomagnetic storms should update automatically! there's a few that don't auto-update (like major nuclear accident). But I figure I'd prob hear about that on the news fairly quickly
