    Turns out a truly disproportionate amount of this history is centered around the grueling task of trying to get captive pandas to figure out how to have sex with each other. Not a simple endeavor, funny enough!

    One family with a 2 y/o son received about $13,400 from STAY DC to cover rent after both parents lost their jobs. The check was cashed, but building managers say they never got it -- so STAY DC issued another $13,400 check that also allegedly went missing.

    Metro still hasn't figured out the root cause of the wheel issue on its 7000-series trains, but it's proposing a new sensor system that would monitor wheel spacing to bring them back online. That system has never been used in quite this way, and WMSC says it will need scrutiny.

    The safety commission tasked with overseeing the return of 's 7000-series cars says the latest plan to do so will require careful scrutiny.

    Robert White’s campaign manager said that when he met with union representatives as they researched their endorsement, "the union workers shared the view that Bowser has appointed 'loyalists' to run city agencies rather than choosing the most competent managers."

    For the first time since 2010, the largest union representing DC government employees endorsed a challenger over the incumbent mayor.

    a day like today confirms my gratitude for local news. today is historic. but beyond this accomplishment, judge jackson has inspired and expanded the possibilities for so many people that have worked with her and identify with her. that's the story got to share:
