  5. Here's my submission for her "make this intuitive" homework: The Bayesian Waterfall Visualization: * each column is a probability (in odds form) * each row "filters out" water (likelihoods) * show as many priors *and* updates as you want! (inspired by Arbital's Bayes Guide)

  16. Weird: I know of 3 different great explanations of Bayes' Theorem, but *none* of elementary algebra. Do you know of an algebra explainer series that's: 1) free/online 2) visual/intuitive 3) gives actual motivation, not just "memorize all this coz it's on the test" ? Thanks!

  21. 1) Assume a brain can be simulated on a classical computer 2) Thus, consciousness can be represented as a finite string of 0/1s 3) π, converted to binary, contains *every* finite string of 0/1s Therefore: π is conscious. Happy Pi Day!
