that's why parents being supportive freaks him out. he doesn't want parents to be supportive. he wants parents to look for ways to end dysphoria without allowing kids to transition. because transitioning in his view is a last resort.

the idea that trans people are beautiful and worthwhile is completely outside his ideology. he sees transition as a solution to dysphoria, not as an expression of who people are.
