He's wrong about the first part. Plenty of poverty is 100% because of low paying jobs. BUT he's not wrong that paying kids and folks mentioned would be helpful.
right...I think he's right that people underestimate how much dependents can contribute to poverty, but then he pushes that so it looks like he's saying people without dependents aren't poor, which is obviously not the case.
There is literally no place in this country where a single person can afford a 1-BR apartment on minimum wage, so yes, low wages lead to poverty.
i feel like this is only sort of correct? like they show these statistics with fun colored maps, right? but the maps don't capture all the data available, they capture what's available on the MLS, which is rental stock that someone feels the need to use the realtor for
