male solidarity often goes specifically to abusive men, which makes things extremely difficult for male victims, as well as for women and nonbinary victims.

it's harmful even to men who AREN'T victimized because everyone is going to wonder if we're one of those guys who snaps his bean during the meeting

People are overthinking this Toobin thing. Imagine this event happening at your workplace. The offender would be fired, it would be a no-brainer, and no one would think twice about it.
-
This issue is that's not what's happening for a huge swath of men speaking publicly on this. So the responses are not "overthinking"

If Toobin did that intentionally as way to show he has power over other, then he deserves all the punishments. But he thought that the camera was off and he was by himself. Then that was accidental mistake, might deserve less punishment.
-
Getting fired is the lesser punishment Having civil or criminal charges pressed is the punishment for people who intentionally victimize other people and they gave him the benefit of the doubt on that

We're you the one saying that even if Biden didn't sexually assault anyone we should say he did? Please stick to comics and SF.
