Our hearts are heavy over George Floyd's senseless killing--something that would have undoubtedly not happened had he been white. We need real, meaningful accountability for those who perpetuate the racism embedded in our criminal justice system.

IMO Chauvin belongs in jail, but this graphic is inaccurate and strategically omits relevant details. Wayne Reyes was a stabbing suspect and drew a shotgun on the cops before being shot.

These are the complaints that made it through the process that is designed to protect him... The problem is systematic not personal.

Well that was quite the non-sequitur... guess I’ll take that to mean you’re just cool with posting misinformation

No I'm just commenting what I posted, that it's not about this particular cop, it's systematic change that's needed, as evidenced by this cop. I'm not trying to debate this cops guilt, I think we should lay blame on the profession as a cultural whole, make changes to that

That’s the thing, I’m not trying to debate his guilt either. Neither are the cops. Police departments, cops, and police unions across the country are universally condemning him. It seems like the significance of that is lost on everyone.

I guess whether this particular cop gets charged, inst what people including me want from the protests. It's cultural change, a cop can't kill multiple people in cold blood to get disciplined. I know it would be convenient to punish just the cop, but it's systematic.

Your “in cold blood” comment is what I’m talking about though. You knew nothing of this guy and these cases and I doubt you’ve read through the facts of them to know that’s true. Advocate for reform, but know that using misininformation and hyperbole weakens your arguments.
