I really like long-form blog posts. I used to worry about publishing them, but I think conventional wisdom is wrong: many of my most read blog posts are 10k+ words (one is ~30k words).

I think there's something about "settling into" a longform narrative that blog posts don't fully offer. OTOH, book publishing is a real slog: writing and editing a manuscript can take years. Bring back the novellas!
