1. I think that the ban of Donald Trump on Twitter is an unacceptable act of censorship (THREAD)

You misunderstand American laws. These are privately held companies with the constitutional rights of individuals (in large part, due to legal challenges from people in the president's own party). They do not have to do business with anyone they do not want to.
-
Except he never said that the Trump ban is against the law.

We love & support you but we live in a democracy and will fight to keep it. That means anyone who incites violence in an attempt to overthrow our government will be held accountable. No platform for insurrectionists.

5 people died. Offices with important information were ransacked. Guns were carried into the capitol. We have endured the president 'uncensored' on twitter for close to 5 years. And it got people killed.
@navalny , I get your point but it is not the same situation. -
5 deaths vs thousands of others that occurred due to looting and chaos by the blm. HMMMMMMM, why doesn't Twitter all blm-related accounts?

Twitter is not a public-law TV channel, it is a private company. It has certain rules for the users and if the users break these rules, their accounts are deactivated. If some account is deactivated, general public is not informed about the reasons, even if it is a US president.
-
I think he knows that already. But the universal argument against social media companies like twitter is that they are providing a public service and should be held accountable by the public for things like censorship. They can't just get away with doing whatever they want..

If you read Twitter rules, you might get your answer. If anyone breaks rules, Twitter always suspend their account. It doesn’t matter if the person is President, it applies to everyone. Not just Twitter, he is blocked on other social platforms too.
