Maybe just a personal experience, but everytime I meditate and go to bed I get more efficient sleep. I sleep a couple of hours less and feel fresher. A 30-40 minute deep stretch yoga session before bed and meditation is even better.

More than a handful of times I've re-listened to your podcasts (mostly on happiness/status/etc.) as meditative time as I drift off to sleep.

Sometimes meditation wakes me up more, the best way to sleep is by reading a book

Reading fiction works for me, but if I read a book related to work, my mind stays active. I think the story works as passive input.
