Rather than opening Access Funds from time to time, I wish the AngelList experience was like that of Fundrise — I just deposit money with you, perhaps select a risk profile, and you figure out what to do with it.

I mean OK but a BIG part of the lure of Angel Investing is to be the ONE GUY that caught the next
$LYFT... and to have a company that calls you, and who you call... "stay in the game". Maybe I am just allergic to the word indexing? -

Marinating on implications of this idea and wondering how much pressure this places on carry model....is the startup selection and filtering worth 20%? (It’s not in public markets...) To be fair, subjectively have found vastly better deal flow at AL vs other platforms so far..

Access is still very difficult in private markets. At the earliest stages, even 20% is cheap IMO.
