Well, that got pretty busy pretty quickly. More than 2x RPS in less than 2 minutes, peak of ~33k RPS for . Thankfully our caching strategy worked well, offload was ~96% for the specific news page.

We're looking to recruit a UX/UI developer who is excited about working with (very) large amounts of internet performance data. Is this you or a friend? Genuinely remote-first organisation.

Searched Google Drive for something random and this old photo from 2004 appeared! Thankfully I don't have to work with any of those technologies any more 😀 I think only the regular expressions book is still relevant.

A weekend well spent, got the old 12v LEGO train out, Seth delighted. Bought some more straight track, points and bits I didn’t have when younger. Maybe time to build a permanent layout.
