In summary of the last ~1.5 years of my work, I wrote a comprehensive whitepaper on the limitations of C language, kernel infoleaks, Bochspwn Reloaded and many related topics. It's out now! Thanks to all involved. Feels good 😎

I know how to say a lot of things in French. Like "Can I have two pounds of maple sugar candy?", "It's for a friend" and "Just kidding, I'm going to eat it all myself"

It’s oddly encouraging when you notice that people who have accomplished amazing things are complete imbeciles on some topics. It makes you think, “hey, I’m a complete imbecile on some topics. Maybe I could still accomplish great things too.”

One question I get a lot of the time is "How do you find bugs?" and I hate answering it since I feel like such a let down, but I literally find bugs by hand. I don't have any fancy idapy scripts, magical fuzzers, or so. I just sit down and try to figure it out :/

I think the core issue here is actually that the girlfriend was able to pretend to be the teacher over email so easily, but I don't think it's likely that will ever be fixed

2FA with a phone might have helped, 2FA with a token probably wouldn't have

Giving his girlfriend his passwords wasn't the best idea, but protecting accounts against a partner you live with and have no inkling will behave maliciously is really difficult anyhow

Didn't get enough attack surface reduction? I'll be talking about other bugs my team found in unnecessary code at the Google Cloud both at 5:30. Bring questions!

Cool idea from : they had a 'dine-around' where attendees could sign up for dinner reservations with random other attendees. More conferences should do this!
