    I would say the same. In all my time in hospital, only seen one successful attempt at CPR outside CCU.

    A thought experiment Two identical hospitals with 500 medical patients In one hospital everyone is kept for CPR in the other hospital no one kept for CPR (excluding post ACS and CCU patients) Would there be a big difference in patient 6month mortality rates?

    Great news for patients...

    So first the research evidence caught up with what we thought clinically and then NICE caught up with the research. If guidelines approved patients will now be able to have cholinesterase inhibitors and memantine.
