I’m definitely not saying it doesn’t happen in real life. I’m definitely not saying survivors shouldn’t tell their stories. I can watch someone dealing with the aftermath of it. I’m just so tired of seeing women being tortured and violated. I’m just done. It’s enough. It hurts.

This got very big & it seems some people don’t understand that expressing I’ve reached capacity for continuing to watch something isn’t in any way me calling for censorship of it. My personal eyeballs cannot take it anymore. That’s all. You do you.

THANK YOU for saying this. I want to be able to watch a movie without the risk of being sent spiralling into my darkest place and for WHAT? it never does any good and is almost always for the benefit of pervy directors

Shows and movies that think rape is ''topical'' are way off the mark. Enough already.

This is perfect! There are so many movies and tv shows I can’t watch / have had to stop watching due to graphic scenes of sexual assault

So would I, Natalie Morales. It’s scary to even think about...especially since we have a rapist sitting in the Oval Office.
