    Families in have been demanding remedy, respect, and to be treated with the dignity they deserve since their land was taken for a sweatshop supported by and over a decade ago. Their remedy agreement is now 3 years old. Time to act.

    . is finally divesting from for-profit school chain Bridge Academies after years of complaints of labor rights violations, sexual abuse, harm and even death of a child while in school care. Now IFC must ensure adequate remedy for affected families before it walks away.

    As a 3x public school parent, this is horrifying. Our teachers show up and do heroic work every day. Teachers, how can we support you? Can we start a fundraiser to cover until our incompetent district does its basic job?

    To every SFUSD employee who has experienced a delay in payment, I want to deeply apologize. We are working tirelessly to ensure every staff member receives the money they are owed as soon as possible.

    Conservation organisations have historically allied with successive military regimes in Myanmar to carve out protected areas in conflict zones and further dispossess indigenous populations. (1)
