    I'm not really here. Learn why. But please subscribe to my Tinyletter, which I will be using more frequently. That and not this. I'm going to block myself out of this for a time. Much love.

    since August 1 through today, August 9th, I am up to 12,189 words of my novel, which I have begun and stopped and begun again for the last three and a half years. It is now what it needed to be, and why I needed to keep stopping;

    Also, fuck every sensationalist story raining down on my community enough that I feel the need to come out of my incubation shell to say fuck every sensationalist story making a meal of this. Read thirty poetry collections this month and shut up your boring fucking gullets.

    Amazing how people who have never had skin in the game of poetry think they can just dance into a room with their opinion about free speech. Why are white people perpetuating an argument that only supports their privilege? This confirms I never want my poems read by a populace.

    I have 2 minutes left of social media for the day (I allow myself 5 minutes now per day), so I want to take this minute to celebrate that, in 7 days since August began, I have already written 9,528 words of my novel. I'm well on my way of hitting 30K by end of month. OK bye.

    This was a difficult tinyletter. I merely tweet this and walk away. Here I discuss eating disorders, rituals, why you should be reading good books by Tarfia Faizullah, , and and not wasting time on mediocre white men, etc.

    This news is worthy enough to break my social media break for a moment: We (myself, , , Tarfia Faizullah, and Diana Arterian) got our panel, "Healing Harm/Harming Heal: The Power and Pain in Writing Through Trauma" accepted! Ok, back into the desert of the real.
