Worth noting: During the Civil War, Cocke and Greene counties, which Faison represents, were strongly Unionist. Easy to understand why he doesn't like Confederate general. More confusing is number of Repubs from east TN who are now confederate partisans.

Dolly’s own Sevier County was heavily pro-union as well IIRC.
