One of the biggest flaws of movies is that whenever somebody does not know what to say or there is a strong emotion, the person leaves the scene. Or there is a cut. A cinematic choice, but I wonder how it affects everyone’s psychology. Leave, versus stay.

Intriguing observation! - Do you think it's conditioning us? Or might it be that it's a reflection of common behavioural patterns? (It would be good to work on alternatives either way.)

Hello! :) My suspicion is it definitely changes our behavior. We are more antisocial, less human, we ‘ghost’ each other and avoid even the most mild of conflicts. And we think this is normal! I would love to see a film where roommates sit down and talk it out for an hour.
