Intriguing observation! - Do you think it's conditioning us? Or might it be that it's a reflection of common behavioural patterns? (It would be good to work on alternatives either way.)

Hello! :) My suspicion is it definitely changes our behavior. We are more antisocial, less human, we ‘ghost’ each other and avoid even the most mild of conflicts. And we think this is normal! I would love to see a film where roommates sit down and talk it out for an hour.

... And I must add that I think someone needs to draw the connection that these behaviors seem to increase concomitantly with the aggrandizing of "self-care" and "working on yourself." We need to re-open the talk of what we "owe" to others. Ok, I'm done. :)
