I don’t get how Peterson is simultaneously “ravaged in the name of righteousness” and a solution for Moral nihilism in a world where “Nobody tells them that there is a wrong—or a right.” How can his detractors both be overly righteous and also not have a moral framework?

The people who tend to like him are nihilists, atheists, rationalists, secularists. These are the ones without a tight moral framework and benefit from him. You are right -- his overly righteous detractors do have a sort-of moral framework. :)
