ironically the more I examine my actions the more I realize *every* action I take is new—there is always some aspect that distinguishes it from all others but that insight undermines every moral and legal system on the planet—which is why it’s a sin to look too closely at things

doing good and sinning are easy—you simply limit your actions to what others have tried and your moral authority has passed judgement on doing new things takes guts—few people are willing to take an action so surprisingly novel that nobody has even thought of judging it
