Barron informed us through these very tigers that great upheaval & strife was coming. All this to happen when Pindar's prophetic words "ὥστε φοινικανθέμου ἦρος ἀκμᾷ," "at the summit of purple-flowered spring," should come to pass - the tigers did NOT provide interpretation.
