I mean, what you described seems like regular sexual competition to me. I'd like to see how shame brings something new or interesting into it.
Picture yourself spartan boys and girls exercising naked in the early morning sun, frolicking and fooling around; spartan sexuality was extremely free, had instituted pederasty and eugenics, all in the aim of excellence. Seems like a great shame- and guiltless sexual culture.
