There's always all that talk about including "postmodern" approaches to Classics, but this promise of Deleuzo-Guattarian schizoanalysis or Foucault being applied to better understand Classics, always devolves in poor research on "gender" and "ethnicity".

Not true. For instance, Irad Malkin and others use Deleuze et al to usefully reconsider cultural transmission in mediterranean.
