Neuro-diverse friends! I'm looking for people and stories of where a neuro-diverse trait has been actively beneficial to your life. Specifically looking for Melb, Aus folk to photograph but would love to hear from any and all to start!

As someone who recently turned 51, I’m all for this.....but, hey, maybe, we could just get an update on the doctored document AFP investigation first?

So England is now going to withdraw from all the commonwealth countries, right? Return N. Ireland to the south and let Scotland walk? Because 'independence' and 'sovereignty' or something, right?

It is comforting to know that it doesn't matter how far into the future we go, we'll always be able to watch tv through shop windows.

Having led, and been jailed for, what Bettina Arndt calls the “moral panic over paedophilia” I am shocked and appalled by her Australia Day award. What does that tell victims?

I used to love Aust Day. I couldn’t understand why we shouldn’t celebrate our incredible country. But then I listened. I grew up. & I stopped being an arse. It’s not Australia Day. It’s Invasion Day & it’s no occasion to “celebrate” via

You know what else Harvey Weinstein used to do? Buy a little indie film at a festival.. only to bury it because it competed, in his mind, with another film of his. Those films - and all that hard work - would never be seen again.

Happy Australia Day. No doubt you're spending your day with family and friends. These two little tots born in Australia are isolated.

Stop romanticising what happened. The first fleet's arrival wasn't a day of joy for anyone. is a celebration of exploitation, elitism, white power, misogyny, racism and straight up murder. Nothing good happened here.

Brits didn't just steal land & lives. They stole people's very humanity & none more violently than the indigenous population. By denying their voice, by disregarding their pain, by ignoring the treatment that sees them die & imprisoned at alarming rates, we continue that legacy.

Side bar: I can't imagine any of the convicts - especially the women and the Irish - would see Jan 26th as anything other than a day of sorrow either. There is nothing good or celebratory about what the white elite did to everyone beneath them. They were murderous villains.

Indigenous twitter... I got this book when I was nine & introduced me to unromantic reality of the convicts who came here. Can you recommend anything I can get for my kids (9 & 5) that might introduce them to the First Nation perspective of colonialism?

Already took a pledge as an Aussie kid in the Eighties: “I promise to love my Cabbage Patch Kid with all my heart. I promise to be a good and kind parent. I will always remember how special my Cabbage Patch Kid is to me.”
