The most important form of group work in schools is the one between teachers. Everybody working together as a team to build a culture of high expectations results in safe and enjoyable learning. 49 teachers who prefer to do their own thing is not my idea of professionalism.

School Leader - an educator who is perfectly happy to work behind the scenes, making sure people get the credit they deserve...Until something bad happens, and everyone else moves behind the scenes. Then the school leader steps forward and sorts out a solution. #edchat

*That’s the way we’ve always done it* is the closest thing to an immovable object as you will find. Not only is the change uncomfortable, but you have to go against everyone else. #Edchat

The greatest impediments to great change in our education system are individual comfort zones. For change to happen some things must be left behind. #Edchat
