Americans do not want our limited resources going to illegal or newly legal immigrants. People say they work so hard, harder than Americans, so why do they need our American government benefits? The gravy train has to stop and it will stop.
Yeah, I'm an American and I do want my resources going to immigrants. They're a worthy investment. Do you know any illegal or newly legal immigrants? What about second and third generation immigrants? They work and continue to our society right along with me.
It's also not a gravy train by any means. It's hard, and the benefits aren't often reaped until the next generation. And that's okay. It's worth it. This is a huge, rich country. We have the room and the resources.

Yes, that is a good example of how immigrants have been allowed to bypass American citizens whose ancestors were historically racially discriminated against. While he was enjoying open doors & a leg up, most of Black America is locked in a never ending cycle of poverty.
