@NASAVoyager 1 Getting its ducks in a row (or antenna) in preparation for its Digital Tape Recorder (DTR) playback. The spacecraft goes from a sedate 160bps to a speedy 1400bps. Normally it needs a 70m and 3x 34M antenna, #DSS26 is offline so 2 will have to do.📡📡📡📶🛰️pic.twitter.com/MHunhPOefo

The 1400Kbs is now coming down and the fact that the 3rd 34M is not available (System upgrade) is making telemetry marginal. We are trying to squeeze every little bit of signal power from our systems to push it over the line. Elevation is rising, now 45 degrees so should improve

For those watching DSN now, The @NASAVoyager 1 telemtry is being processed on the 34 meter #DSS25. This has the array processor in its connection used to combine all antenna.pic.twitter.com/8N4C96wxAz

Just received feedback from the Voyager ACE on telemetry quality. Lots of good frames, science folks will determine if a repeat playback is required. Hopefully not, taking up a third of DSN resources for a single support would be a scheduling nightmare.

Sure do. Plasma wave experiment data is recorded on the DTR. @NASAVoyager 2 DTR is no longer operable

I've seen those graphics before, but I have no context for them. Where do they come from?
