        The occultation will be appox. 2 seconds, but we are using our high-speed camera.

        It's a small percentage. Most of the motion is from the Earth's orbit around the sun.

        Yes the same @NASANewHorizons team that studied June 3 occultation is onboard & using that & new @NASAHubble data to plan tonight's observ.

        The telescope is mounted on a spherical bearing to isolate it from the movement of the aircraft. We also use gyroscopes.pic.twitter.com/KRjmckqrts

        We used data from @NASAHubble & @ESAGaia satellite to calculate where MU69 shadow would fall on Earth. The best data is from the center!
