  2. This lack of understanding is even more common in older people, they do not know there is such a thing as 'elder abuse'. Education is needed all across the boards.

  4. The pathological narcissist’s gaslighting antics can bring about traumatic changes to the brain of the victim. By doing "no contact" with the narcissist, the victim allows their brain to rebalance itself and find equilibrium.... the healthier they become.

Its disheartening when fighting for justice for victims & getting opposition from those on the front-line (supposed to be fighting the same fight). Police do not understand Psychopathy or how to read high risk behaviour. Congratulations & well done.

1990's I fought "childhood sexual abuse". They said, "It never happened in Holy Ireland". But I was the one working with victims in psychiatric hospital. I fought diligently, and we eventually got results. I have now been 10 years fighting narcissistic abuse, and we'll get there

Narcissistic Abuse is a complicated subject. "The Gaslighting Syndrome"covers the full cycle of narcissistic abuse experienced in all relationships. It reveals the clever patterns of behaviours (the IDDH Cycle, ambient abuse & coercive control, etc.).

We must raise awareness of Narcissistic Abuse. We will then push the boundaries beyond Gaslighting, Ambient Abuse and Coercive Control, all the ways that narcissists hurt and shame their victims.

For me it is a key indicator that Domestic Violence Support Services are doing their utmost to keep victims in ignorance of narcissistic abuse..... why that should be, I have no idea. But it is "gaslighting" behaviour.

No Caroline, I had not seen this documentary. As Psychopathy becomes pandemic, the level of sexual slavery around the world is reaching “horrific dimensions”, this is terrifying beyond belief.

Yes, their behaviours do betray them. However, if you do not understand what to look out for, you will not identify the behaviours for yourself.... that leaves you open to being narcissistically abused. So education is key to staying safe.

Narcissism is an epidemic. Yet one National Domestic Abuse Hotline openly states on their website, "Some abusive partners may be living with narcissistic personality disorder, but many of them are not." What does that even mean?

If you shared a life with a pathological narcissist, whether you realised it or not, you will have been part of a cult, and you will have been to Cloud Cuckoo Land. Read this article:

Since 2008, more than 60,000 U.S. veterans have taken their own lives, with more than half of those deaths via firearms. How is that allowed to happen?

It seems that America's has a narcissistic national disorder that they may have to sort out.... starting at the top.

Is coercive control a crime? Yes, but only in Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland and France. The USA is NOW looking to reform their domestic violence laws. A petition has even been started.
