  2. She blocks me, but this is an uninformed dismissal. Food problems, for instance, declined by more among single mother families than it did among married parent families. That's not what we'd see if child care expenses increased more than earnings. Also see

    As a Mom of 3 virtually-schooled kids and a consumer of research, I disagree with my colleague! You can protect the adults around children, you can't overcome the lost schooling (going on 7 months!). We are seeing tremendous negative impacts on kids

    It’s primarily from the damage we now know happens to the brains of children who experience early maltreatment & trauma. Also about the disruption of a child’s ability to connect and attach to others. Early neglect, trauma & in utero stress and drug use create lifelong struggles

  13. We are very lucky in the USA to have the First Amendment. And inter-group relations in the USA, often seen as bad by many here, are actually generally far better than inter-group relations in most other countries in the globe.

    After experiencing a CRT-based transracial adoption session, here's what I've come to believe: if you're an upper middle class couple thinking about adopting and you sit through a CRT-based transracial adoption session, it's unlikely you will decide to adopt black children.
