I’ve often wondered why the same tennis journalists ask the same questions over and over. They love sticking in the needle when a player has a rough match. Think Konta defended herself well a couple years ago!

Love this for you. As a tennis fan, I HATE post-match interviews, they are so cringey and invasive, especially during a loss. Seeing someone have to answer questions right after losing without any time to process really sucks to see.

I might be wrong but I am sure tennis players are contractually obliged to give post match interviews . It’s why tournament management pay all (seeded) players a sizeable retainer fee
