Thank you for posting about this. I haven't really followed RMS since I was in my early 20s, but continued to hold him in high regard for some of his ideals. No more. And I'll take this as a lesson, thankyouverymuch.

You can hold him in high regard for some of his ideals, and in low regard for some others. It doesn't have to be all-or-nothing.

Sure. But I don't. If someone is not willing to learn, grow, or even admit dysfunction, I'll take the ideals, and I'll leave the person. I don't expect perfection of anyone, but I do expect willingness.
