small creators are not only the future of youtube as a platform, they also work just as hard as creators with larger followings. punishing them for not reaching certain subscriber and ~minutes watched~ milestones is ridiculously unfair and shortsighted.

I would like to say that Twitch isn’t just for gaming! One of the biggest things atm is live streaming IRL on your phone in Japan!
Also they care about their creators SO MUCH 
Tbh it is nice that they do the affiliate program for the smaller ones like me who don't have a big enough following for the partnership. It's nice you can earn money still with ads and subscriptions and they do listen to their community.

If you just look at their Twitter, you can see nothing but love & support for their creators. There’s a sense of community there what youtube has been lacking for a while now :(
