Basically I have no internet for 3-4 weeks apparently so I've had to tether and I'm just so happy that I'm still able to talk and hang with friends. Yes, it's a super slow DL for maps but it works !!!

The fact that I can still play VRC rn in a crowded lobby with 1MB DL tethering from a phone is crazy. Majority friends are hidden avatars but I'm still able to load them in gradually like woah.

I'm so happy
VRC is way more optimised than people think in these cases. Sacrificing the majority of avatars to hang out and still talk is worth it.
Just goes to show how much we all rely on the internet where our phones @ most cases can be enough to see our friends in VR! - Näytä vastaukset

Aside from size of worlds/avatars people played MMO with thousands of people in same place on dial up more than 20 years a go
