Those actually drop quite frequently. From what I've seen at least
The Mammoth one is probably the most 'common' in terms of it drops of all bosses in that raid (5), I've ran it 3 times total for it to drop. Obvs that one is once a week. Whereas the other two you can technically run 10 times per hour(?)

Altho, I think I've just been insanely lucky considering I don't use any alts so the huge handful of rare mounts I have, have dropped all on my main. Ashes of A'lar and Onyxian Drake dropped on my first runs and then a few others dropped only after a couple which is i n s a n e

Ashes and the Onyxian drake are much more rare drops, so I'd be more proud of those. Also you can still be very proud of the northern drake, if you don't use alts. So yes your chances with catching rares is high, but you should have already known that being rare yourself.
