Soooo, @Jessius has just bought an aircon unit. And it's being delivered in the next few hours. This makes me so happy.
Closed windows, heat from 2 cats and 2 PCs in one small room is not fun. We don't have to melt anymore!!! 
omg yesss, i just got mine last week - portable so unfortunately our windows make it so some of the conditioned air escapes buuuut it's still a life saver! Will be the best purchase you've made all year ahaha
