For anyone watching this tweet who meemes and run around with spider avatars in vrc i would ask for u to not use them around me had one of The worst. Nights yesterday due to someone scaring me over and over even tho they knew i have a phobia so i went in to a panic attack
dude this ^^^^ I avoid joining off people while streaming now since there's been a few that constantly do this to me despite knowing about my phobia. It's only when they're streaming too, off stream they don't do it. :(

My issue is some see people I'm friends with, am cool with, and have discussed what I'm okay with scare me, see the connnntent, and decide to do it to me unprompted if in a world with it. Said people are those I dont know at all or dont know when to lay off of it and its annoying

Especially if I'm obviously trying to just relax off stream and be calm, that's not the time I want someone to be raising my heart rate. If I'm live, I have a bit of mental prep for such stuff and can deal...off air I really don't want that except from close friends
