Ohhh, VRChat is free and you don't need a VR Headset for it! I would 100% recommend trying it out then once you've gotten used to the controls, hopping into The Japan Shrine or similar maps as they usually are commonly visited by the Japanese Community! hmu if you need help! :)
I probably will have some questions! I wouldn't want to try until I'm more confident with basics, though. First off, I don't even know how to type in Japanese... I've just been handwriting so far haha
