I also hate how there's a new URL format every few years on devblogs, and no one bothers writing a script to fix the links. It's practically impossible to read Raymond's older posts without Wayback Machine

The links in these (fairly inconvenient) PDFs are just as broken as on the source. I picked "Defrauding the WHQL driver certification process" at random and clicked the "one of my earlier entries" link at the start, and was met with this:

But I complained about the (internal) links being broken, of which Raymond uses a lot. Does that work for you? For me it still points to the old URL format, and results in a 403.

The previous response to this was deleted. You are correct, the links in the PDF are broken due to botched MSDN links. The only indication on what it is, is the date syntax of 2004/02/11. This would require someone needing to manually find the referencing article in our archive.
