Any of you guys got experience with Mastodon? I just heard of it for the first time. Is there any adventages over Twitter? Lots of people using it?

The instance block situation is pretty awful. several instances block other instances purely for *not* blocking instances they don't like. it's crazy, out of the top 10 instances about half of them block at least one other top 10 instance.
