Still think it makes sense to acknowledge that Bitcoin’s values have roots in monetary-economics and libertarianism. Also: Tech is science-y (the example books are about iterating to success) Bitcoin is math-y (came fully formed, the inf. case was carefully considered)

You might say that bitcoin is an example of a technology that understood it was entering a space in which “moving fast and breaking things” wouldn’t work It was impressively self-aware, and in a sense antithetical to the tech values of the past decade
