بعد ان عمد الامبراطور سرجون الاكدي الى تنصيب ابنته انخيدوانا بمنصب الكاهن الاعلى لمعبد القمر في أور خلال القرن 23 ق.م
اصبح هذا الاجراء عرف سائد في بلاد الرافدين بتعيين الملوك بناتهم او اخواتهم في هذا المنصب الديني المهم لتحتكر النساء هذا المنصب من 2300 ق.م الى 539 ق.م
