    New data by Danqing Yang, Dirk Feldmeyer et al. dives into the specifics of muscarinic- and nicotinic-mediated ACh responses in S1 L6PNs, finding that ACh "strengthen[s] corticothalamic [output] while weakening corticocortical synaptic signaling".
