I'm tagging @TwitterAble and not @TwitterEng or @Twitter directly because I consider this to be an accessibility issue. People with ADHD need to externalize memory in contextual ways -- how about enabling that here? :)

A really useful feature, @TwitterAble, would be an optional input when you follow someone where you can log why you're following them. Autopopulate it when following from a tweet. Make it optionally public.

twitter lists can address this somewhat i think but it also kind of puts someone in a box when they may be tweeting about many many topics besides the one you followed them for
