My story 📖
I founded a SaaS company in 2013 after teaching myself to code. I couldn’t raise capital, even after 82 pitches.
Instead of giving up, I bootstrapped to 8K customers, 25 employees, 14% MoM for 3yrs, and exited in 2019.
During that time, I had 4 kids!

After my exit, I angel invested & mentored founders who didn’t have connections or a network to get VC dollars like their privileged peers.
I met thousands of founders and found the overlooked ones had grit + tenacity, and billion-dollar ideas but didn't have access to capital.

Crunchbase reported that in 2021:
2.3% of VC went to all women-founded teams
15.6% of VC went to women/men-founded teams
1.3% of VC went to Black founders
