My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

these responses look organized: look at how well the righties of the world organize and are ready to attack at the slightest provocation. And like true predators they try to camouflage themselves as randomly concerned citizens...about a 40 year old crime while the world burns.

Why is it that is always the explanation offered? Must you so aggressively “other” those of us who disagree with you politically? I’m concerned because that 40-year-old crime killed three people. Do you think that’s no reason to be upset at this pardon?
