    it's tough being an artist on social media because the sites we use, and work around the shitty features of, always winds up not acknowledging we use that site and make decisions to screw us over, tumblr did the SAME thing and look where it is :I

    so I'm conflicted, I want a site that allows to me to engage with my friends and stuff and dreamwidth is- all things considered- the best for that but for 'discovering' new artists it's going to b eextremely difficult, and if you're on twitter for that, it'll be hard to replace

    The challenge with Asian cuisines is that when we remove a holistic cuisine from the culture that balances it, the foods that were eaten sometimes become more frequent. Vigilance is needed to ensure balance is maintained. Asian kids, listen to your grandmas.

    This isn't how Asian cuisines work. A single dish rarely balances meat, vegetables, fats and carbohydrates. Many dishes are just vegetables. Some just meat. Some just carbs & fat. Balance comes from eating a variety of dishes, rather than balancing each dish individually.
