The wind and temperatures have dropped and it’s the weekend so more people are using their solid fuel burning stoves / open fires. As a result #health damaging PM2.5 #AirPollution has increased in #Chorley.

It’s all part of govt plan to privatise the NHS. Run it down and force people to have to pay. Corporations typically take 30-40% profit. The outcome = worse patient outcomes, worse conditions for staff and more corporate profiteering.

The approach the Gov is proposing to reduce PM2.5 #AirPollution by reducing emissions of new stoves is farcical given that very low levels of PM2.5 exposure have been found to impact #health. As PM2.5 is reduced even more deadly PM0.1 usually increases. A phased ban is required.
